• We added a new event when an SD card is formatted. This feature is only available on dashcams with firmware 3.11.25 or above.

• An upcoming change to the Surfisght API may impact your use of the service:

  • The following parameters are required in the PUT /devices/{imei}/event-config, POST /organizations/{orgId}/event-settings, and PUT devices/event-config API calls.

    • speedLimit, when configuring speedLimit events

    • drivingDuration, when configuring possible possibleFatigue events

    • headwayAlertDayThreshold, headwayAlertNightThreshold, and headwayAlertTime, when configuring tailgating events

    • laneWeavingTimes and laneWeavingDurationSeconds, when configuring laneWeaving events

  • The API call returns an error when trying to enable the event type without the required parameters.

  • Due to a new more stringent validation process, in devices with tailgating events that had corrupted or missing configurations, the tailgating events were disabled. Partners impacted by this situation were contacted directly by the Technical Account Manager team. If you have any questions please contact your Technical Account Manager.
